HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018/06/07 - Minutes - SpecialJune 7, 2018 CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA CITY COUNCIL AND FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES The City Council and Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District held a special meeting on Thursday, June 7, 2018 in the Tri -Communities Conference Room, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California. Mayor L. Dennis Michael called the meetings to order at 5:02 p.m. Present were Council Members: Bill Alexander, Sam Spagnolo, Diane Williams, Mayor Pro Tem Lynne Kennedy and Mayor L. Dennis Michael. Also present were: John Gillison, City Manager; Lori Sassoon, Deputy City Manager/Administrative Services; Tamara Layne, Finance Director; and Linda A. Troyan, City Clerk Services Director. Council Member Alexander led the Pledge of Allegiance. No public communications were made. DISCUSSION AND CONSIDERATION OF PROPOSED BUDGETS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018/19 (The budget is available for review at the City Clerk's Office, Biane Library, Archibald Library.) John Gillison, City Manager, via a PowerPoint presentation, presented the budgets. Council reviewed and provided comments. Council was provided a Memorandum from the City Manager with updated budget pages about the Highway User Tax Account revenue estimates, also referred to as Gas Tax revenues. The detailed pages will be updated prior to the printing of the final adopted budget. The preliminary budget and PowerPoint presentation are available on the City's website. Adoption of the budgets is scheduled for June 21, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The City Council and Fire Protection District Special meetings adjourned at 6:30 p.m. Respectfully submitted, 6L'a .
