PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
Regular Meeting
June 8, 2005
Chairman Macias called the Regular Meeting of the City of Rancho Cucamonga Planning
Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. The meeting was held in the Council Chambers at Rancho
Cucamonga Civic Center, 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, Califomia. Chairman
Macias then led in the pledge of allegiance.
ROLL CALL
COMMISSIONERS: PRESENT: Richard Fletcher, Rich Macias, Larry McNiel,Cristine McPhail,
Pam Stewart
ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Peter Bryan, Fire Chief; Brad Buller, City Planner, Dan Coleman, Principal
Planner; Kevin Ennis, Assistant City Attorney; Gail Sanchez, Planning
Commission Secretary; Lois Schrader, Planning Department Secretary;Mike
Smith, Assistant Planner; Joe Stofa, Associate Engineer

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Motion: Moved by McNiel, seconded by McPhail,carried 4-0-0-1 (Fletcher abstain),to approve the
minutes of May 25, 2005.
CONSENT CALENDAR
A. HILLSIDE DESIGN REVIEW DRC2005-00003-AGUIRRE/BRUNO: A proposal to construct a
two-story single-family residence with a floor area of 3,974 square feet (including the garage,
patios, and decks) on a parcel of about 12,000 square feet in the Low Residential District, (2-4
dwelling units per acre), located west of Predera Court at the north side of Camino Predera-
APN: 0207-631-22. This project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act(CEQA)pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15303(a)(Class
3 Exemption- New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures).
Motion: Moved by McNiel, seconded by Fletcher, to adopt the Consent Calendar. Motion carried
by the following vote:
I AYES: FLETCHER, MACIAS, McNIEL, McPHAIL, STEWART
NOES: NONE
ABSENT: NONE - carried
PUBLIC COMMENTS
There were no public comments.
COMMISSION BUSINESS
There was no Commission Business.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion: Moved by McNiel, seconded by McPhail, carried 5-0,to adjourn. The Planning Commission
adjourned at 7:04 p.m. to a workshop. The workshop adjourned at 8:30 p.m. and those minutes
appear separately.
