Project Overview
• SUBTT18210 was approved on March 28, 2007, for
the subdivision of 4.89 acres of land into 7
residential lots
• The original expiration date was on March 28, 2010
• The State Legislature passed a series of automatic
extensions of active tentative maps which extended
the approval to March 28, 2017
• The Planning Commission approved a one (1) year
time extension on February 22, 2017, to March 28,
2018
• Applicant is requesting a one (1) year time
extension to provide time to sell the project site

Etiwanda Specific Plan and the Equestrian
Overlay
• The subject lots range in size from 22,610 to
33,050 square feet, with an average lot size of
25,524 square feet
• The Etiwanda Specific Plan requires a minimum
lot size of 20,000 square feet and an average lot
size of 25,000 square feet
• Each lot includes access to a private equestrian
trail

• A Mitigated Negative Declaration was
adopted on March 28, 2007, in connection

Background
• 2016 purchase agreement between City and SCE to
acquire 15,299 streetlights, completed in late 2017
• City receiving requests to install wireless
communication facilities on these streetlights
• Currently, there are no permit requirements or
development standards in the code
• Proposed amendment addresses gap in standards
for facilities in the ROW

At its regular meeting held on March 14, 2018, the Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission
continued the following item(s) to its meeting to be held on March 28, 2018.
MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT DRC2018-00177 CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA —A request to amend Title 17 (Development Code) of the Municipal
Code to amend regulations regarding the posting and display of signs in the public
right-of-way. This item is exempt from the requirements of the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the City's CEQA guidelines under CEQA
sections 15061(B)(3),and 15305. This item will be forwarded to the City Council for
final action.
The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Rancho Cucamonga Civic
Center, located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, California.
