The year is 1904.The city is Paris.Pablo Picasso and Albert
Einstein cross paths at a bar,the Lapin Agile. Both men are
young and on the verge of a breakthrough. They are ignited
by the possibilities the f uture holds for them and their
discoveries. But will this new century be one that esteems the
arts,or will it choose science?Over the course of an evening,
Picasso and Einstein along with a host of interesting characters
and the help of a mysterious visitor from the future, erupt in
a hilarious debate over the value of art as a science and science
as an art.Who is right?Whose name will be written the
biggest in the stars decades from now?Steve Martin brilliantly
tackles these questions in his award-winning comedy.
Note:This production is recommended for adult audiences due to mature content.

Bark in the Ballpark
7 pm --June 1 •June 15 •August 3 •August 24
Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter (8408 Rochester)
Don’t miss this great outing for baseball fans and their very best friends.
Pet lovers can bring their beloved four legged friends to share in the fun
of a Quakes Baseball game. The event not only allows pet lovers to bring
their animal friends along, but partnering with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
allows the Animal Center to gain support and increase awareness of the
Animal Center in the community.
Critter Control
Having problems with mice,rats,gophers,
opossums,grasshoppers or other unwanted
guests?The RCAC&AC has a safe,all natural
and utterly adorable solution -a cat.The
Center runs a popular Trap,Neuter,Release
program (TNR)for feral cats (cats that have
not been socialized and cannot be handled by
humans).Program participants have reported noticeable reduction in
the number of destructive and nuisance critters. This program is free
and includes spaying and neutering, initial vaccinations, flea treatment
and testing for feline leukemia and AIDS.
Normally TNR kitties are released back to
their original environment, but when this is
not possible cats need to be relocated to new
areas. The new caretaker will be responsible
for feeding and any
future vet care.In
addition to helping
with critter control,a feral cat can be an
alternative pet for cat lovers who don’t
have enough time for,or cannot keep,
a house pet.If you have a suitable
environment for a TNR cat please contact
the Center at (909)466-7387,ext 2073.
Adopt A Shelter Cat
Please do your part to help solve pet
over population and help your pet be a
healthier and more enjoyable
companion.The American Society for
the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals
(ASPCA)is celebrating June as Adopt
A Shelter Cat Month to educate people
about the wonderful cats and kittens
available for adoption at shelters. They want to “encourage all
Americans to make pet adoption their first option and to
educate people about improving their quality of life through
the companionship of a cat.”
Our Animal Center has a variety of adorable, fun and cuddly
felines just waiting to find their new companion.Visit us today
and see which new four legged friend will melt your heart.
RC Cares Committee
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Services
Department has formed a f undraising committee called RC
Cares. The Committee will plan fundraising events for much
needed funds that will help rehabilitate sick or injured Center
pets.Committee activities will also reach out to the Rancho
Cucamonga Community spotlighting the many wonderful
adoptable pets at the Center and the services that are available.
The Committee meets once a month to plan and carry out
popular f undraisers like the Furry Friends Festival, the Furry
Friends Flea Market and the Putt 4 Paws.Partnerships with
local businesses such as Outback Steakhouse,WAP Clothing
Store and Crown Toyota will also be developed.
If you have fund raising or event planning experience,or if you
just want to have fun making a difference in the lives of
homeless pets, please contact Joe Pulcinella at (909)466-7387
