Burnett, this enchanting classic novel is a
brilliant musical by a Pulitzer Prize winning
playwright. Orphaned in India, Mary returns to
Yorkshire to live with an embittered, reclusive uncle and his
invalid son. The estate includes a magical locked garden.
Flashbacks, dream sequences, a strolling chorus of ghosts and
some of the most beautiful music written for Broadway dramatize
The Secret Garden’s compelling tale of regeneration.

Prevent a Litter and Save Lives
Spring is in the air, and that can mean the arrival of countless
puppies and kittens born to dogs and cats that are not spayed
or neutered. Shelters all over the county are
overwhelmed with too many homeless pets and
not enough responsible homes. You can help prevent unwanted births by spaying or neutering your pet. The procedure brings very real benefits for YOU, such as:
Healthier pets.Sterilized animals live
many years longer and enjoy health benefits.
When a female dog is spayed before her first
“heat,” her chances of developing mammary cancer is nearly
reduced to zero. This cancer is difficult to detect and can spread
rapidly to the bones and lungs. Spaying and neutering greatly
reduces mortality from this and other types of cancer.Safer pets.Neutered male dogs and cats are less likely to fight and
exhibit dominant behaviors, a cause for aggression
especially towards children. They rarely roam,
lessening chances of being hit by a car and
acquiring diseases such as feline leukemia
and AIDS.Easier-to-live-with pets.Neutered males
will not mount or spray. Spayed females
will not attract amorous crops of male
suitors to your home.Less expensive pets.Sterilized pets require
less veterinary care than unneutered ones, which
are often treated for problems such as bite wounds, accidental
injuries, reproductive cancers and infections.
Please spay or neuter your pet and help us end
animal overpopulation in our community.
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and
Adoption Center has a voucher program
which helps to reduce the cost of the oper-
ation ($50 per dog and $25 per cat). For
more information, please call (909) 466-
7387 or visit www.rcpets.info.
