People are encouraged to help homeless animals by opening their hearts and homes to dogs in need. The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center can help you to find the perfect pet. By adopting a dog from the Animal Center, you are saving the lives of these precious animals and giving them much needed, loving homes. Be sure to check out our website at RCPets.info as it is a source for all your pet needs. Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month - November Attention animal lovers - November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month and we would love for you to consider giving a home to an older cat or dog in need. There are many advantages to adopting an older dog. You'll know important things like their full-grown size, personality, and grooming requirements. Older pets are great at focusing on you because they're calmer than their younger counterparts. They're content going for a short walk and can be a great match for older adults, or those who enjoy a less active lifestyle. Older pets have been around the block and have already learned what it takes to get along with others and become part of a pack. They'll be a part of your family in no time and you'll feel the rewards every day you spend together. Bark in the Ballpark August 2nd, 16th & 23rd Back by popular demand, this event is a day where pet lovers can bring their beloved four-legged friends out to LoanMart Field to take in an exciting Quakes baseball game. Not only does the event allow pet lovers to bring their furry friends out, it also benefits the RC Animal Care and Adoption Center. This partnership with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes increases awareness of the leadership and vision that the Animal Center has for the community. For more information log onto the Quakes’ website at RCQuakes.com. We hope to see you at the game! The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes are a Minor League Baseball team. They are a Class A Advanced team in the California League and a farm team of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
