This is the time and place for the general public to address the Animal Care Foundation on any item
listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Animal Care Foundation from addressing any issue not
previously included on the Agenda. The Animal Care Foundation may receive testimony and set the
matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual.
C ANNOUNCEMENTSI,CONSENT CALENDAR
The following Consent Calendar items are expected to be routine and non-controversial. They
will be acted upon by the Animal Care Foundation Board at one time without discussion. Any
item may be removed by a Board Member or member of the audience for discussion.

B. Announcements and Presentations
1. Animal Services Director Veronica Fincher announced extreme makeover
has begun and completion plan is for 50 day construction.
2. Animal Services Director Veronica Fincher stated that we received IRS
paperwork for the Animal Care Foundation but will wait to implement until
end of fiscal year.
C. Public Communication
1. None.
D. Foundation Business
1. Vice President Suzanne Buquet suggested that we all should promote the
Golf Tournament.
2. Secretary Nancy Mendoza announced the Furry Friends Flea Market is
ready with plenty of volunteer assistance and lots of donations.
3. President Mary Guyer volunteered to help create a database that captures
email addresses for fundraising purposes. Also, Mary suggested we have
either a boutique or yard sale in late May or June.
4. Animal Services Director Veronica Fincher stated that an Open House will
be held once the makeover is completed.
5. Vice President Suzanne asked about Animal Care Foundation Stationery.
Barbara said she will research options. In addition, Suzanne brought a
Polo Shirt sample to show board members. We will purchase black shirts
for each member. Price is $17 —Soo and Mary need to bring payment to
next meeting.
