This is the time and place for the general public to address the Animal Care Foundation on any item
listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the Animal Care Foundation from addressing any issue not
previously included on the Agenda. The Animal Care Foundation may receive testimony and set the
matter for a subsequent meeting. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual.

will be acted upon by the Animal Care Foundation Board at one time without discussion. Any

A. Call To Order

B. Announcements and Presentations
1. Mini yard sale to be held Saturday September 30th in Animal Center
parking lot.
2. PawTea Fundraiser: September 9th
3. The Holiday Boutique will be held at City Hall in the Tri Communities
Room, December 6th from 11 a.m. —2 p.m.
4. Blaze Pizza Fundraiser was August 30 from 5 p.m. — 9 p.m.
5. Roaring 20's Celebration in Honor of the City of Rancho Cucamonga's
Board Members and Commissioners was held September 25th at the
historical lomosa House.
6. Animal Services Director Veronica Fincher announced the hiring
of Richard Farias as the new Animal Care Supervisor. Veronica also
shared that the GOALS project is on target. And, the Animal Center is
launching a $15 feline adoption promotion for the months of September
and October.
7. Director Veronica said we are considering the cost of hiring an accountant
for the Animal Care Foundation.
8. Volunteer Bonnie and her friends Chris and Anna are hosting a couple of
fundraisers to benefit the Animal Center. They include a Bunco night, a
Mexican restaurant fundraiser and a Monte Carlo night.
C. Public Communication
1. None.

D. Foundation Business
1. Planning a holiday Open House to celebrate makeover and the holiday
season. Set date: December 6, 2017,
2. Received preliminary information on 2 different golf courses for
a future golf tournament fundraiser.
3. We will need to advertise for new board members. Anthony Feliciano's
term has expired.

4. Next Board Meeting: February 22, 2018 at 5 p.m.
