HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019/08/05 - Minutes - Special August 7, 2019 CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Rancho Cucamonga City Council and Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in in Tri-Communities Conference Room at City Hall located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga. Mayor L. Dennis Michael called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m. Planning Commissioner Dopp led the Pledge of Allegiance. Present were Council Members Hutchison, Scott, Spagnolo, Mayor Pro Tem Kennedy and Mayor Michael. Present were Planning Commission Members Dopp, Munoz, Oaxaca and Vice Chair Wimberly. Chairman Guglielmo was absent. Also present were: Nick Ghirelli, Assistant City Attorney, Matt Burris, Deputy City Manager/Economic and Community Development and Linda A. Troyan, City Clerk Services Director. PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS There were no public comments. ITEMS OF • 1. Presentation on Integration of the Retail and Warehouse Sectors(Verbal Report). City Council received a presentation by Brandon Birtcher, Birtcher Development Legal Real Estate, on the Impacts on Land Planning caused by the integration of the retail and warehouse sectors.
