In response to the Governor's Executive Orders and the San Bernardino County Department of
Public Health requirements, individuals attending this meeting must maintain appropriate physical
distancing of 6 feet and wear face coverings.

B1. This is the time and place for the general public to address the City Council Library Subcommittee on any
item listed on the agenda. State law prohibits the City Council Library Subcommittee from addressing any
issue not previously included on the Agenda. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual or
less, as deemed necessary by the City Council Library Subcommittee, depending upon the number of
individuals desiring to speak.

LIBRARY SUBCOMMITTEE SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
The City of Rancho Cucamonga Library Subcommittee held a special meeting on Thursday,
June 18, 2020, in the Rains Conference Room located at 10500 Civic Center Drive, Rancho
Cucamonga, California. Mayor Pro Tern Kennedy called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m.
Present were Council Members Mayor Pro Tern Lynne Kennedy and Kristine Scott.
PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
None.
ITEMS OF •
C1. Approve and File Minutes of: February 12, 2020.
MOTION: Moved by Council Member Scott, seconded by Mayor Pro Tern Kennedy, to approve
the Minutes of February 12, 20209.
C2. Interview of Candidates to the Library Board of Trustees.
Mayor Pro Tern Kennedy and Council Member Scott interviewed three applicants for the two
Library Board of Trustees vacancies. Motion to reappoint Janet Temkin and Christine DeVries
for three-year term ending June 30, 2023: moved by Mayor Pro Tern Kennedy and seconded by
Council Member Scott. The recommendation will be added to the Council Business section of
the July 15, 2020 City Council Agenda.

Mayor Pro Tern Kennedy adjourned the meeting at 4:47 p.m.
