Design Review Committee • The project was reviewed by the Design Review Committee (Guglielmo, Williams, and Smith ) on May 4, 2021 . The Committee recommended that the project move forward as presented to the Planning Commission for final review and approval . Public Correspondence • Public notifications for public meeting was conducted in accordance with the Code requirement of 660 feet radius. Environmental Assessment • This item is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the City's CEQA guidelines under CEQA Section : • The project qualifies as a Class 32 exemption under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15332 - In-Fill Development Projects Public Art • Per Development Code Section 17 - 124 - 020 (Public Art Required ), places of worship are exempt from the public art requirement. Staff Recommendation • Approve Design Review DRC2020-00199 and Conditional Use Permit Modification DRC2020- 00471 through the adoption of the attached Resolution of Approvals with Conditions .
