A. Call to Order
The meeting of the Design Review Committee was held on February 15, 2022. The meeting was called
to order by Mike Smith, Staff Coordinator, at 7:00 p.m.
Design Review Committee members present: Diane Williams, Tony Morales
Staff Present: Tabe van der Zwaag, Associate Planner
B. Public Communications
Staff Coordinator opened the public communication and, after noting there were no public comments,
closed public communications.
C. Consent Calendar
C1. Consideration to adopt Regular Meeting Minutes of September 1411 and November 30, 2021
Motion carried 2-0 vote to adopt the minutes as presented.
D. Project Review Items
D1. LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LARAMIE DRIVE WEST OF BERYL STREET - HILLSIDE
DESIGN REVIEW DRC2021-00139—STEENO DESIGN—A request to construct a 5,163 square foot
single-family residence with an attached 1,763 square foot 3-car garage on a vacant property totaling
22,651 square feet within the Very Low (VL) Residential District, the Hillside Overlay District and
Equestrian Overlay District at 8938 Laramie Drive — APN: 1061-801-28. The project qualifies as a
Class 3 exemption under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 — New Construction or Conversion
of Small Structures
The Committee took the following action:
X Recommend approval to PC/PD. 2-0 Vote
Staff presented the project to the Design Review Committee. The Design Review Committee voted
unanimously to recommend approval of the project to the Planning Director.
D2. LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF MORGAN PLACE - HILLSIDE DESIGN REVIEW
DRC2021-00157—BRUNO MANCINELLI—A request to construct a 5,089 square foot single-
family residence with an attached 4-car garage on a vacant property of 22,957 square feet
within the Very Low (VL) Residential District and the Hillside Overlay District located at 5042
Morgan Place—APN: 1074-541-15. The project qualifies as a Class 3 exemption under State
CEQA Guidelines Section 15303 — New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures
The Committee took the following action:
X Recommend approval to PC/PD. 2-0 Vote
Staff presented the project to the Design Review Committee. The Design Review Committee voted
unanimously to recommend approval of the project to the Planning Director.
E. Adjournment
Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
