A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIPaCTORS OF THE RANCMO
CIIIAM1qC4k FIRE ~ON DISTRICT, CITY OF RANCMO
CGCAMIqGA, COUNTY OF SAN BMlqARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
AUTHORIZING THE EX~CUT/ON OF AN AMMqDMD AND RESTATED
JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGRRFMMqT R~ATING TO THE WEST
MqD ~CATIONS FINANCING AeRITY
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District (the "District") does hereby resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the District, the City of Ontario and the City of Rancho
Cucamonga have heretofore approved and executed a joint exercise of powers
agreement, dated F~hruary, 21, 1990, creating the West End C~u~unications
Financing Authority (the "Authority") pursuant to Articles 1 through 4
(ccmmencir~ with section 6500) of Chapter 5, Division 7, Title 1 of the
California Government Code (the "Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable to amend and restate the
~Jreement to, among other things, provide for the membership of the City of
Chino, California, in the Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District does hereby find, determine and order as follows:
SECTION 1: Amended and Restated ~Jreement. Tne Board of Directors
hereby approves and authorizes the President, the Fire Chief or Finance
Director to execute and the Secretary to attest an amended and restated
Agreement, in substantially the form on file with the Secretary, together with
any changes therein deemed advisable by Legal Counsel to the District.
S~/fION 2: Appointment of Director. The Fire Chief of the District,
or his designee, is hereby appointed as the District's representative as
Director of the Authority.
SECTION 3: Official Actions: The President, the Fire Chief, the
Finance Director, the Secretary and all other proper officers of the District
are hereby authorized and directed to take all actions and do all things
necessary or desirable hereunder with respect to the formation of the
Authority, including ~ut not limited to the execution and delivery of any and
all agreements, certificates, instruments and other docanents, which they, or
any of them, may deem necessary or desirable and not inconsistent with the
purposes of this Rasolution.
SELTION 4: Effective Date. This Resolution shall take effect from
and after the date of its passage and adoption.

District do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed,
approved, and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Rancho Cucamonga Fire
Protection District, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 16th day
of January, 1991.
