A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED
GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the City has established the second meeting in January as
a General Plan Amendment hearing date for Planning Commission review;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing to
consider amendments to the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, comments were heard and considered both pro and con regarding
the requested General Plan Amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended for consideration
by the Council the following General Plan Amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing on March 5,
1980, to consider comments pro and con regarding the General Plan Amendments
recommended by the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council does hereby amend the General Plan Land Use Element as follows:
SECTION 1: General Plan Amendment No. 80-O1B Amends the
the Interim Land Use Map of the General Plan to show approximately
20 acres on the northeast corner of Haven Avenue and Arrow Route as
Neighborhood Community Commercial with the condition that final
approval of the amendment would not be effective until a Conditional
Use Permit has been granted by the Planning Commission for the site
(Exhibit "A").
SECTION 2: It is recommended that a Negative Declaration be
adopted for the General Plan Amendment No. 80-O1B based upon the
completion of the Initial Study and its findings.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of March, 1980.
