A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
84-02 C - 19TH STREET CORRIDOR STUDY, TO AMEND THE
GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP FROM OFFICE TO LOW-MEDIUM
RESIDENTIAL ON 5.04 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF 19TH STREET AND HERMOSA AVENUE - APN
202-191-13, 14
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has held a public hearing considered
all public testimony and input regarding the requested amendment and
recommends approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has held a public hearing to consider said
amendment; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Amendment will not be materially injurious or
detrimental to surrounding property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEED, that the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council does hereby approve the following Amendment to the Land Use Plan of
the General Plan.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council has made the following
findings:
1. The amendment is consistent with the intent of the
General Plan Land Use Policies.
2. The amendment promotes the goals of the Land Use
Element.
3. The amendment will not be materially injurious or
detrimental to adjaceant properties.
SECTION 2: General Plan Amendment 84-02C An Amendment of the
General Plan Land Use Map from Low-Medium Residential and Office to Low-
Residential for approximately 11.23 acres of land, located at the Northeast
corner of 19th Street and Hermosa Avenue - APN 202-191-13, 14, 23.
SECTION 3: A Negative Declaration is hereby adopted for this General
Plan Amendment based upon the completion and findings of the Initial Study.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 1984.
