HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-269 - ResolutionsRESOLUTION NO. 84-269 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 84-02 B 19TH STREET CORRIDOR STUDY, TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN LAND USE MAP FROM MEDIUM HIGH RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM RESIDENTIAL ON APPROXIMATELY 15.75 ACRES OF LAND, LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 19TH STREET BETWEEN ARCHIBALD AVENUE AND AMETHYST AVENUE - APN 201-101-07, 11, 21 (IN PART ONLY), AND 22. WHEREAS, The Planning Commission has held a public hearing to consider all public testimony and input regarding the requested amendment and recommended approval thereof; and WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing to consider said amendment; and WHEREAS, the proposed amendment will not be materially injurious or detrimental to surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rancho Cucamonga City Council does hereby approve the following Amendment to the Land Use Plan of the General Plan. SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council has made the following findings: The amendment is consistent with the intent of the General Plan Land Use Policies. The amendment promotes the goals of the Land Use Element· 3- The amendment will not be materially injurious or detrimental to adjacent properties. SECTION 2: General Plan Amendment 84-02B An Amendment of the General Plan Land Use Map from Medium-High Residential to Medium Residential for approximately 15.75 acres of land, located on the north side of 19th Street between Archibald Avenue and Amethyst Avenue - APN: 201-101-07, 11, 21 (in part only), and 22. SECTION 3: A Negative Declaration is hereby adopted for this General Plan Amendment based upon the completion and findings of the Initial Study. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of October, 1984. AYES: Wright, MikeIs, Dahl, King NOES: Buquet ABSENT: None ATTEST:
