HomeMy WebLinkAbout84-216 - ResolutionsRESOLUTION NO. 84-216 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO PREPARE AN IMPARTIAL ANALYSIS WHEREAS, a special municipal election is to be held in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California on November 6, 1984 at which there will be submitted to the qualified electors of the City the following measures: Shall the electors elect a Mayor and four City Councilmembers? Shall the term of office of Mayor be two years? Shall the term of office of Mayor be four years? NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That the city council directs the city clerk to transmit a copy of the measure to the city attorney, unless the organization or salaries of the office of the city attorney are affected. The city attorney shall prepare an impartial analysis of the measures showing the effect of the measures on the existing law and the operation of the measure. If the measure affects the organization or salaries of the office of the city attorney, the city clerk shall prepare the impartial analysis. The impartial analysis shall be filed by August 14, 1984, the date set by the city clerk for the filing of primary arguments. PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 14th day of August, 1984.
