A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE UNNECESSARY STREETS AND
ALLEYS WITHIN THE VICTORIA PROJECT AS HEREIN DESCRIBED
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby elects to proceed
under Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and Highways Code, also
known as the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
SECTION 2: That the City Council hereby declares its
intention to vacate the attached described Streets and Alleys, as shown
on Map No. V-O15 on file in the Office of the City Clerk, a legal
description of which is attached hereto marked Exhibit "A" and by reference
made a part hereof.
SECTION 3: That the City Council hereby fixes Wednesday,
the 7th day of April, 1982, at 7:00 p.m., in the Lion's Park Community
Service Building, located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cucamonga, California,
as the time and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed
vacation for the purpose of its determining whether said City street is
necessary for present or prospective street purposes.
SECTION 4: That the City Street Superintendent shall cause
notices to be posted conspicuously along the line of the street or part
thereof proposed to be vacated at least 10 days before the hearing, not
more than 300 feet apart and not less than three signs shall be posted,
each of which shall have a copy of this resolution on them and shall
have the following title in lettering not less than one inch in height:
"NOTICE OF HEARING TO VACATE STREET".
SECTION 5: The subject vacation shall be subject to the
reservations and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record.
SECTION 6: The Mayor shall sign this Resolution and the
City Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause same
to be published 10 days before the date set for the hearing, at least
once in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published
in the City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, 1982.

PARCEL A
Railroad Avenue North (40.00 Feet Wide), the alley (30.00 Feet Wide)
and Victoria Street (30.00 Feet Wide) all shown on the map of Orange
Empire Acres in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San Bernardino,
State of California as shown on a map recorded in Book 20, Page 1 of
Map Books, Records of said County, lying easterly of the easterly line
of the West 330.00 feet of the East half of the Southwest quarter of
Section 32, Township I North, Range 6 West of the San Bernardtno Meridian
according to the official Plat thereof filed in the District Land Office.
PARCEL B
The unnamed Road (66.00) feet wide lying between the northerly pro-
longations of the westerly line of Lot 4 and the easterly line of Lot
3 in Block J of Etiwanda Colony Lands in the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
County of San Bernardino, State of California as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 2, Page 24 of Map Books in the office of the County Recorder
of said County and the unnamed Road or Alley of undetermined width
adjoining Block 1 of said Etiwanda Colony Lands.
