A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANfMO
CUCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL REAPPORTION~NT
REPORT AND CONFIRMING A~NDED ASSESS~NTS FOR THME STORM
DRAIN CMANNEL (ASSESS~NT DISTRICT 86-2) FOR THE LOT LINE
AEGUST~NT FOR APN 201-271-71, APN 201-271-72, AND TRACT
MAP 12873
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
has previously confirmed assessments in a special assessment district pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of 1913", being
Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and
bonds were issued to represent the costs for unpaid assessments pursuant to the
terms and provisions of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915", being Division 10
of said code, said special assessment district known and designated as
ASSESS~NT DISTRICT NO. 86-2 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment
District"); and,
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto, certain lots and/or parcels of land upon
which there are unpaid assessments have been apportioned or divided, and this
legislative body did receive a Reapportionment Report and proposed amended
assessment and did set a public hearing on the amended assessment, all as
authorized pursuant to the provisions of Fart 10 of the "Improvement Bond Act
of !915 "; and,
WHEREAS, at this time all notices have been given as required by la~;
all persons interested in the original assessment, or in the lands affected
thereby, or in the bonds secured thereby, did at the time of the public
hearing, hear and determine all objections to the division of the assessments,
and, this legislative body is now desirous to proceed to confirm the amended
assessments.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2. That the amended assessments contained in the
"Reapportionment Report" are hereby approved and confirmed by this legislative
body.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall, immediately upon adoption of this
Resolution, cause the following:
A. File a copy of the Amended Assessment Report, as confirmed, with
the County Auditor, who shall annually thereafter enter upon the
assessment roll the installments coming due on each component
part of the original parcel opposite a description of the
respective parcels so assessed.

B. The amount charged for fees and costs as shown on the amended
assessment as to each parcel shall be entered upon the assessment
roll and shall be collected along with the first installment of
the amended assessment.
C. All amounts collected for fees and costs of the reapportionment
shall be deposited in the General Fund of the City.
D. The amended assessment roll and diagram shall immediately be
fLled in the Office of the Superintendent of Streets.
E. A copy of the amended assessment diagrsm shall ~m-ediately be
filed in the Office of the C~unty Recorder, and said amended
diagram shall cross reference the original assessment diagrsm for
the Assessment District. Said amended diagram shall contain the
information as set forth in Section 8734 of the Streets and
Highways Code.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF RAN(HO
~JCAHJNGA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO LEVY AND
COLLECT ASSESS~NTS WITHIN THE PARK AND RECREATION
IMPROVE~NT DISTRICT (PD-85) AND SETTINS A TIM~ AND PLACE
FOR PUBLIC HEARING ~HEREON
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
has previously formed a special assessment district pursuant to the terms of
the "Landscapin$ and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, in what is known an
designated as "PARK AND RECREATION IMPROVE~NT DISTRICT (HERITAGE AND RED HILL
COMM3NITY PARKS).
WHEREAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take proceedings
to provide for the annual levy of assessments for the next ensuing fiscal year
to provide for the costs and expenses necessa~ to pay debt service on the
bonds issued and costs for annual maintenance for the Assessment Distrlct$ and
WHEREAS. at this time there has been presented and approved by this
City Council. the Engineer's Report, as required by law, and this City Council
is desirous of continuing with the proceedings for said annual levy.
NOW. THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
RECITALS
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
DECLARATION OF INTENTION
SECTION 2: That the public interest and convenience requires, and it
is the intention of this leglslative body, to undertake proceedings for the
annual levy and collection of assessments for the payment of costs and expenses
for the following designated improvsments, including debt service on bonds
issued to assist in financing said /~nprowements:
Construction of park and recreational ~mprovsments in Heritage and Red
Hill Community Parks, including but not lflnlted to, land preparation, including
grading, landscaping and irrigation systems, together with appurtenant work.
That no new //nprovementa or any substantial changes in existing
/mprovements are proposed as a part of these proceedings.
BOUNDARIES OF MAINTENANCE DISTRICT
SECTION 3: That said works of ~mprovement are of direct benefit to
the properties within the boundaries of said Assessment District. which

Assessment District the legislative body previously declared to be the area
benefited by said works of improvement, and for particulars reference is made
to the boundary map as previously approved by this legislative body, a copy of
which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk and open for public
inspection, and designated by the name of this Assessment District.
REPORT OF ENGINEER
SECTION 4: That the "Report" of the Engineer, as preliminarily
approved by this legislative body, is on fLle with the City Clerk and open for
public inspection. Reference is made to said "Report" for a full and detailed
description of the existing works of improvement, the boundaries of the
Assessment District and any zones therein, and the proposed assessments upon
assessable lots and parcels of land within the Assessment District.
PUBLIC HEARING
SECTION 5: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN ~HAT WEDNESDAY, ]HE 15TH DAY OF
JUNE, 1988, AT THE HOUR OF 7:30 O'CLOCK P.M., IN ~HE ~ETING PLACE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL AT LIONS PARK COM/~NITY CENTER, 9161 BASELINE ROAD, RANCHO CHCA~DNGA,
CA, IS THE TI~ AND PLACE FIXED BY THIS LEGISLATIVE BODY FOR HEARING PROTESTS
OR OBJECTIONS IN REF~.RENCE TO THE ANNUAL LEVY OF ASSESS~NTS AND TO ANY OTHER
MATTERS CONTAINED IN THIS RESOLUTION. ANY PERSONS WHO WISH TO OBJECT TO THE
PROCEEDINGS OR THE ANNUAL LEVY SHOULD FILE A WRITTEN PROTEST WITH THE CITY
CLERK PRIOR TO THE TI~ SET FOR THE PUBLIC HEARING.
NOTICE
SECTION 6: That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
give notice as causing a copy of this Resolution to be published in The Daily
Report, a newspaper of general circulation within the City; said publication to
be completed not less than ten (10) days prior to the date set for the public
hearing.
