A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO.
85-04C - MEL MACK, REQUESTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE RANCHO CUCAMONGA GENERAL PLAN FROM
MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (4-14 DU/AC) TO MEDIUM HIGH
DENSITY RESIDENTIAL (14-24 DU/AC) FOR 18 ACRES OF LAND
LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF FOOTHILL AND TURNER
WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly advertised public hearing to
consider all comments on the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 85-04C;
SECTION 1: The Ranoho Cuoamonga City Council cannot make the
following findings:
A. The Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use
Policies of the General Plan.
B. The Amendment promotes goals of the Land Use Element.
C. The Amendment would not be materially injurious or
detrimental to the adjacent properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council hereby denies General Plan Amendment No. 85-04C.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1985.
