A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING TO BE VACATED, A PORTION OF ALMOND AVENUE,
LOCATED SOUTH OF 24TH STREET AND WEST OF CHERRY AVENUE,
IN ETIWANDA AREA, APPROXIMATELY 23 FEET WIDE AND 1812
FEET LONG - APN 226-111-01
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89-067, passed on February 15, 1989, the
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga declared its intention to vacate a
portion of a City street hereinafter more particularly described, and set the
hour of 7:30 P.M. on March 15, 1989, in the Lions Park Community Center
Building, located at 9161 Base Line, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time
and place for hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, due to extended posting time from 10 days before the hearing
to 15 days before the hearing under Section 8300, et. seq., of the Streets and
Highway Code, a public hearing is set a the hour of 7:30 P.M. on
April 5, 1989, in the Lions Park Community Center Building, located at 9161
Base Line Road, Rancho Cucamonga, California, as the time and place for
hearing all persons objecting to the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, such public hearing has been held at said time and place,
and there were no protests, oral or written, to such vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: The Council finds all the evidence submitted that a
portion of Almond Avenue is unnecessary for present or prospective public
street purposes, and the City Council hereby makes its order vacating that
portion of said City street as shown on Map No. V-087 on file in the office of
the Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been further described in
a legal description which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and by
reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: The subject vacation shall be subject to the reservations
and exceptions, if any, for existing utilities on record.
SECTION 3: The subject vacation shall become effective at the time
of recordation of Tract Map 13566-1.
SECTION 4: The Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County,
California.
SECTION 5: The Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of
this resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.

That portion of Almond Avenue, in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, County of San
Bernardino, State of California, 60.00 feet wide, as described in a deed to
the County of San Bernardino, per Book "A", Page 215 of Road Deeds, lying
within that certain parcel of land described in a deed recorded November 21,
1986, as instrument No. 86-351056 of official records, all as shown on a map
filed in Book 73, Pages 39 and 40 of Records of Surveys, records of said
county.
Exhibit "B" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
