A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY ORDERING THE VACATION OF
THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF ARROW AND ETIWANDA ALONG SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY EASENRNT
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8330, of the Streets and
Highway Code, tbe City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to
summarily vacate a portion of the City Easement hereinafter more particularly
described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found all the evidence submitted that a
portion at the Northeast corner of Arrow and Etiwanda along Southern California
Edison easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public utility
purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
SECTION i: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga
hereby makes its order vacating that portion of easement on Map V-059 on file
in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which has been
further described in a legal description which is attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A", and by reference made a part thereof.
SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded,
said portion at the Northeast corner of Arrow and Etiwanda along Southern
California Edison easement no longer constitutes a public utility easement.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San
Bernardino County, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6tb day of August, 1986.
