WHE gAS, the City Council of (he City of Rancho Cucamonga, has adopted
Chapter 2.2Z of the Rancho Cuc~mo~ga Municipal Code relating to historic
preservation and ~.
WHE EAS, the Rancho Cucamonga Historic Preservati. on Commission has
investigated the historic significance of ~he Night. Blooming Cerecus and has
held public hearings concerning this site in accordance with Chapt~r.2,~..4 of
the RanCho Cucamonga Municipal Code relating to historic preservation; and'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th~ C~.~y Council of the Cizy of
Rancho Cucamcnga, as follows: '
The City Council finds and determines 'that the,.Night Blooming 'Gerecus
located at 7850 Valle Vista, has met the criteria established for de:si~tion
as a City Historic Lanchnark, and therefore, and with 'the recomme~atlon :.6f the
Historic Presarvation Commission, designates this '*~ite as a .'"City Historic
Landmark.
