A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCMO
OJCA~DNGA, CALIFORNIA, {MANGING THE NA~E OF TERRA VISTA
PARK~4AY TO ERRA VISTA PARKWAY EAST AND TERRA VISTA
PARKWAY WEST AND ESTABLISHING M/LLIKEN AVENUE AS THE
DIVIDING INTERSEC~ ION
WHEREAS, street names have been assigned, which will create double
intersections With the same names. "
WHEREAS, emergency Service peYsonnel need to be ' able to determine
street locations without hesitation.
· WHEREAS, the proposed changes will not create significant adverse
impacts on the emviror~nent.
WHEREAS, the proposed changes are consistent with the goals and
policiea and standards of the General Plan.
WHEREAS, the proposed changes are deemed necessary in order to protect
the public health, safety, comfort, convenience, and general welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga does hereby designate Terra Vista Parlc~ay, which runs
approximately 2 miles from Church Street to Church Street, to be henceforth
known as Terra Vista Parkway West, west of Milliken Avenue, and Terra Vista
Parkway East, east of Milliken Avenue, effective 90 days from the date of this
action.
BE IT FdRTHER RESOLVED that the Gity Clerk be directed to forward a
copy of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors, County of San Bernardino,
as set forth in Section 34092 of the Goverament Code, of the State of
California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1988.
