WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to install Area V Storm
Drain in Hillside Road from ~m~t of Archibald Avenue to the Alta Lc~a Channel,
and as a consequence petitioned for a Proposal frcm Associated Engineers to
design such project for construction; and
WH~IREAS, the firm of Associated Engineers is represented as qualified
to perform the services and has the most familiarity with the project scope and
w-as chosen by the City Engineering Staff to provide l~rofessio~al er~3ineering
services for field surveys, engineering design, studies and calculations for the
preparation of plans, specifications and estimate for the Area V Storm Drain
Improvement Project in Hillside Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cuca~ does
hereby resolve to award and execute a Professional Services B~Jre~ with
Associated Enginee_r~ to provide professional engineering servioes to prepare
plans, specifications and estimate for ~ V Storm Drain Improvement Project in
Hillside Road f£~LL east of Archibald Avenue to the Alta Lcma ~1. Such work
shall be performed for a fee not to exceed $11,200.00 tx) be f~ by City-Wide
Drainage Fund, Account No. 23-4637-8862. A contingency fund in an a~ of 10%
of the contract a~unt shall also be es~mhlished for use under the a~l and
direction of the City Engineer for extra work or (Imange Order during the course
of plan preparation.
