A RESOLUTION OF THE U£'l~ COUNCIL OF THE ClT~ OF RAN(N{O
CUCAMONGA, CATIFORNIA, A~ARDING THE (/ANTRACT FOR THE
CON~i~0cr. ON OF c~3kIN PUBLIC WORKS OF ~ IN A
SPEC/AL ASSES~MflNT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
did publicly open, examine and declare ail sealed proposals or bids for doing
certain of the works of improvement as sat forth and shown on tb~ plans and
specifications which were approved f~r proceedings in a special assessment
district, said proceedings being taken pursuant to the t~rovisions of the
'~mlicipal /mprovement Act of 1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California, said special asses~nent district known
and designated as ASSESSMf~T DISTRICT NO. 84-2 (ALTA ~ STORM DRAIN)
(hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District").
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals ere all true and correct.
SECi'iON 2: Tnat this legislative body hereby rejects all of said
proposals or bids except that herein mentioned, and does hereby award the
construction contract for doing said work and making imp~ts in the
Assessment District to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit:
at the prices named in the bid of said bidder on file with the transcript of
these proceedings and open for public inspection.
SEer±ON 3: That the works of imp~t shall be constructed in the
manner and form as sat forth in the plans and specifications as previously
approved for these works of improvement.
SEct±ON 4: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to
execute the Agreement for the works of improvement relating to said Assessment
District, and a copy of said Agreement shall be on file with the transcript of
SEer±ON 5: ~at all monies to pay for the costs and expenses of the
abov~ referenced Assessment District shall be paid frc~ the funds as defx~ited
