A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT~ COUNciL OF THE C±'lY OF RANCHO
~NGA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING ~ ANNEXATION OF CertAIN
T~RRITORY TO IANDSCAPE ~CE DISTRICT NO. 3 AND STR~I'
LIGHTING MAIivI'~qANCE DIS~i~RICT NOS. 1 AND 6 FOR ~R 86-27
WHEREAS, the City Ccuncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
has previously formed a special maintenance district pursuant to the t~rms of
the "T~ndscaping and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the
Streets and Highways code of the State of California, said special mm{ntenance
district known and designated as Landscape Maintenance District No. 3, Street
Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 and Street Lighting Maintenance District No.
6 (hereirk32fter referred to as the '~4ainterk3r~e District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the "Tandscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Maintenance District; and
WH~%EAS, at this time the city Council is desirous to take proceedings
to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this referenced to the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
written consent to the proposed annexation without notice and hearing or filing
of an ~gineer's "Report".
NOW, THerEFORE, the city Oouncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follows:
SECI'iON 1: ~nat the above recitals are all true and correct.
S~CTION 2: ~nat this legislative body hereby orders the annexation of
the property as shown in Exhibit "A" and the work program areas as described in
Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
S~UI'±ON 3: That all future proceedings of the Maintenance District,
including the levy of all assessments, shall be applicable to the territory
