A RESOLUTION OF THE c±'~Y COL~gCIL OF THE CA'IY OF 1RANC~IO
CUCAMDNGA, CALIFORNIA, AFF~0V/NG THE ADOPtiON OF THE Gf~q~RAL

A. R~citals.
(i) The City Co~cil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, in conformance
with the rec~rements of State Law, adopted a c~,~lete General Plan and
certified the Environmental Impact Report for th~ General Plan on April 6, 1981
by the approval of R~solution No. 81-040.
(ii) On September 28 and October 26, 1988, the Planning C~m~ssion of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted_ duly noticed City-initiated public
hearings on the General Plan Technical Update and final Master f~vironmental
Assessment (MEA) and General Plan ~vironmental Impact Re~ort (w~R), and on
October 26, 1988, the Planning C~u~,~ssion recum,~nded to the city Council of
Rancho Cucamonga certification of the above mentioned final MEA/Ei~ and General
Plan Technical Update.
(iii) All legal p~requisites prior to the adoption of this
Resolution have occurred.
B. R~solution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby find, determine and resolve as follows:
1. The City Council does hereby take the following actions
with respect to the General Plan Technical Update:
(a) Find that all environmental concerns have been
addressed by the final MEA/~u{ as rec~,~nded for
certification by the Planning C~m~dssion;
(b) Find that the General Plan Technical Update
project is the preparation, review, and adoption
of technical amendments to the General Plan
consisting of the update of statistical
information and i~plementation measures, inclusion
of provisions of the Surface Mining and
Reclamation Act of 1975, ar~ revisions to the
C~u~unity Design section of the T~nd Use and
Develu~nt Element.
(c) Adopt the General Plan Technical Update, as
drafted, as the approved General Plan for the City
of Rancho Cucamonga.
