A RES~UTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE
PLAN FOR THE 1989-1991 COM~3NITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM
A. Recitals.
(1) The City of Rancho Cucamonga is an Entitlement City under the
regulations governing the Federal Community Development Block Grant program;
and
(ii) Each entitlement City is required to submit a Housing Assistance
Plan (HAP) every three years to coordinate and focus the .programs which it
funds with CDBG or other funds; and
(iii) The next planning period is October 1, 1988 to Sept~nber 30,
1991; and
(iv) Staff has prepared a HAP in a'ccordance with Federal regulations
and consistent with the Housing Eloment of the Rancho Cucamonga General Plan
and with the Regional Housing Needs Assessment prepared by the Southern
California Association of Government~ for the region; and
(v) On October 17, 1988, the City Council held a legally noticed
public hearing in order to give the public an opportunity to respond to the
draft plan; and the City Council has heard public testimony and .received all
public input regarding the City's Housing Assistance Plan.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve and take the following actions:
1. Approve and adopt the Housing Assistance Plan for 1989-1991 to
guide the housing programs of the Community Development Block
Grant over the next three years; and
2. Approve and adopt the one year increment of the Housing
Assistance Plan for the period October 1, 1988 to September 30,
1989.
