A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, RE-ESTABLISHING THE BASE YEAR
APPROPRIATION LIMIT AND EVERY FISCAL YEAR THEREAFTER,
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIIIB OF THE CALIFORNIA STATE
CONSTITUTION
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the State of California provides that the
total annual appropriations subject to limitation of the State and of each
local government shall not exceed the appropriations limit of such entity of
government for the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of living and
population except as otherwise provided in said Article XIIIB; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Manager directed an analysis be completed to
insure the City's base year (1978-79) was calculated pursuant to Article XIIIB
of the California State Constitution; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga,
California, does hereby resolve, and determine that the base year for purposes
of determining Article XIIIB requires re-establishment and each subsequent year
be re-established as follows:
