A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING AND
ADOPTING A FEE SCHEDULE PERTAINING TO THE
CONSTRUCTION OF PLANNED DRAINAGE FACILITIES
WITHIN THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA
A. RECITALS.
1. Chapter 13.08 of the Rancho Cucamonga Municipal Code contains those
provisions pertaining to the establishment of the drainage plan for the City
and the designation of seven local drainage areas.
2. Pursuant to Section 13.08.030, as a condition of development approval the
City shall require the payment of a fee for the purposes of defraying the
actual or estimated cost of constructing planned drainage facilities for the
removal of surface and storm waters from the local drainage areas.
3. Pursuant to the terms of Section 13.08.040, the fees required to be paid by
said Chapter 13.08 shall be set by a resolution of the City Council.
4. It is the desire of this Council to implement the fees related to those local
drainage areas not otherwise exempted under the terms of Chapter 13.08.
5. All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this Resolution have occurred.
B. RESOLUTION.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is found, determined and resolved by the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows:
i. In all respects as set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of this Resolution.
ii. For the purpose of establishing fees for the purpose of defraying the
actual or estimated cost of constructing planned drainage facilities for
the removal of surface and storm waters from those local drainage
areas as established in Chapter 13.08 of the Rancho Cucamonga
Municipal Code, this Council hereby adopts the fee schedule as
follows:
1. Victoria Planned Community.....................................$0
2. Terra Vista Planned Community Area .......................$0
3. The Caryn Planned Community Area........................$0

4. Etiwanda Area A See Chapter 13.09 of the
Municipal Code
5. Etiwanda Area B See Chapter 13.09 of the
Municipal Code
6. Assessment District Areas ........................................$0
7. The General City Area:
a. Prior to 09/01/02........................................... $5,000
b. 09/01/02 to 12/31/02.................................... $8,500
c. On or after 01/01/03................................... $15,300
Commencing 01/01/04, the General City Area fee amount will be reviewed annually with the
estimated construction costs increased by the applicable Engineering News Record Index
(November 2001 = 7228). Building permits issued within the Barton Development
Agreement Area of the General City Area will have a fee of$0.
