RELATED FILE: DEVELOPMENT REVIEW 00-53 WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8334, of the Streets and Highway Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate those portions of the City Street hereinafter more particularly described; and WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga Planning Commission on March 28, 2001 by minute action finds and determines that the summary vacation of the subject street rights-of-way herein contemplated conform to the City's General Plan; and • WHEREAS, the City Council found all the evidence submitted that portions of Center Avenue between Humboldt Avenue and 24`h Street; 25,h Street between Hermosa Avenue and Deer Creek Channel; 25`h Street between Center Avenue and Marine Avenue and 25`h Street between Deer Creek Channel and Center Avenue are unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes because it is not required for street or highway purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga as follows: SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby makes its order vacating the alley (V-178), on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, which have been filr`.`2r described in tt s iegai ucbC:iption wI ich i; attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit "B" and by reference made a part thereof. SECTION 2: That from and after the date the resolution is recorded, said street no longer constitutes a public easement.
