A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, SUMMARILY
ORDERING THE VACATION OF A 12-FOOT WIDE EASEMENT
FOR DRAINAGE PURPOSES FOR APN: 208-352-63, 64, 67, 68
WHEREAS, by Chapter 4, Article 1, Section 8333, of the Streets and Highways
Code, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga is authorized to summarily vacate the
12-foot drainage easement, located west of Elm Street between Foothill Boulevard and
Eucalyptus Street, APN: 208-352-63, 64, 67 and 68; and
WHEREAS, the City Council found by all the evidence submitted that the
drainage easement is unnecessary for public service purposes, and has been superceded by
relocation, and there are no other public facilities located within the easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby
resolves as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City Council hereby makes its order vacating the 12-foot
wide drainage easement for drainage purposes, as shown in
Exhibit 'B"and described as follows:
That portion of parcel 9 of Parcel Map No. 6725 in the
City of Rancho Cucamonga, as described in Book 67,
pages 4-7 of Parcel Maps recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino, California.
All as shown on Exhibit 'A" and Exhibit "8" attached
hereto and by this reference made a part hereof.
SECTION 2: That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
and exhibits to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of
San Bernardino County, California.
SECTION 3: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
resolution, and it shall thereupon take effect and be in force.
