This is the tithe and place for the general public to address the City Council and the Library Board of Trostees.
State law prohibits the Council and the Board of Trustees from addr'-~ing any issue not previously included on
the Agenda. The Council and the Board of Trustees may receive testimony and set the matter for a subsequent
meeting. Comments are to be limited to five minutes per individual

The Library Board of Trustees will recess at the conclusion of the joint
meeting with the City Council and reconvene to discuss the following
item(s).
1. Discussion of proposal for handling Children's Storytime: presented
by Library Staff.

SUBJECT: Children's~
After some discussion, here is the amended proposal for Children's Storytimes:
1) We will provide 3 storytime sessions, using the same stories each time. Two sessions
will be provided on Wednesday and 1 session on Saturday.
2) Although each storytime session will run in 8 week series, at any time in the session,
youngsters will be able to register as long as there are vacancies available.
3) Waiting lists will be maintained for each session, including one for first available
opening.
4) Any child that misses 2 consecutive sessions may be bumped by a child from the waiting
list.
5) Parents are invited to attend with child for the first one or two sessions only, when they
are new to storytime with the Library. Parents who wish to continually attend with their
child may do so currently at the Saturday session.
6) There will be no break between sessions. However, no storytimes will be held on the
week of 4th of July; the week of Thanksgiving; the week of Christmas and the week of
Easter.
