AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING
AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY
COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE
CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM
AND DECLARING THE URGENCY THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1: That an amendment to the Contract between the City
Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga and the Board of Administration, Cali-
fornia Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of said
amendment being attached hereto, marked "Exhibit A", and by such reference made
a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
SECTION 2: The Mayor of the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga is hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to execute said amend-
ment for and on behalf of said Agency.
SECTION 3: The City Council does hereby find and declare that
this Ordinance is for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and
safety, and it shall take effect immediately upon its adoption as an urgency
ordinance.
SECTION 4: The Mayor shall sign this Ordinance and the City Clerk
shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall cause the same to be published
within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at least once in The Daily Report,
a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of Ontario, California,
and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of September, 1980.
