AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA EXTENDING
THE MORATORIUM IMPOSED BY ORDINANCE NO. 64 ~D DECLARING
THE URGENCY THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga, California,
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: The City Council hereby finds that:
A. Further time is needed for the study and preparation
of a comprehensive growth management program for the
City.
B. The expiration of Ordinance No. 64 by its terms on
August 1, 1979 will not be in the best interests of
the City and said expiration date should be extended
as hereinafter provided.
SECTION 2: Section 6 of Ordinance No. 64 of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga is hereby amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 6: The moratorium imposed by this Ordinance shall
expire November 8, 1979."
SECTION 3: This Ordinance is hereby declared an ~rgency
measure necessary for the immediate protection and preservation of the
public peace, health, safety, and welfare state in Section 1 hereof and
in Ordinance No. 64 and shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
SECTION 4: The Mavor shall sign this Ordinance anti the City
Clerk shall attest to the same, and the City Clerk shall caL~se the same
to be published within fifteen (15) days after its passage, at least once
in The Daily Report, a newspaper of general circulation published in the
City of Ontario, California, and circulated in the City of Rancho Cucamon~a,
California.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 1979.
