PASSING ON REAPPORTIO}~ENT REPORT, GIVING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL ARD SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS; the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, has previously confirned assessments in a special assessment district pursuant to the ter~s and provisions of the #Nunicipal Improvouent Act of 1918u, beins Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and bonds were issued to represent the costs for unpaid assessments pursuant to the terms and provision~ of the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915". bein~ Division 10 of said Code, said special assessment district known and ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 82-1R (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District~)~ and :~[EREAS. subsequent thereto, certain lots and/or parcels of land w~ich thege are unpaid assessments have been apportioned or divided, and this lesislative body has ordered the preparation of and has now received a #Reapportionment Reporte setting forth the segregation and apportionment of the unpaid installments of the orisinal assessments, all as authorized by Part 10 of the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 specifically co~aencing with Section 8780 thsreof~ and ~EREAS, this legislative body is desirous to proceed to set a time and place for hearing public testimony and/or objections upon the amended assessment, all in the manner as authorized by said Part 10. NO~, THEREFORE, IT IS' HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. That the report entitled "Reapportio~ent Report" setting forth certain segregations and apportionments of the unpaid installments of the original assessments for the Assessment District is hereby received, preliminarily approved and ordered to placed on file in the Office of the City Cler~ of the legislative body. SECTION 3. That the proposed segregations and apportionments as set forth in the Reapportionment Report, are hereby approved in the amounts se= forth and for =he respective lots or parcels as set forth in said Report. Reference is hereby made to said Report for all particulars as it relates to the proposed segregations and reapportionments. SECTION 4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON WEDNESDAY, THE TWENTIETH DAY OF MAY 1987, AT T~E HOUR OF 7:30 O'CLOCX P.M., IN THE REGULAR MEETING PLACE OF THIS LEGISLATIVE BODY, LOCATED AT THE LION'S PARK, RANCHO CUCAHONGA, CA.. IS THE TIHE AND PLACE FIXED FOR THE HEARING UPON THE PROPOSED AMENDED ASSESSMenTS. ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ORIGINAL ASSESSMENT OR IN THE LANDS AFFECTED THEREBY, OR IN THE BONDS SECURED THEREBY. MAY. AT THE TIME OF THE HEARING OR AT THE TIME TO ~HICH THE HEARING MAY BE CONTINUED. APPEAR AND PROTEST AGAINST THE AMENDED ASSESSMENT. WRI'A-A'~ OBJECTIONS TO THE AMENDED ASSESSMENT ARE TO BE FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK OF THE LEGISLATIVE BODY BY ANY INTERESTED PERSON AT AN~ TIME NOT LATER THAN THE TIME SET FOR THE HEARING. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk of the legislative body shall. immediately following the adoption of this Resolution. cause notice to be made, pursuant to Section 6061 of the Government Code of the State of California, by having a copy of =his Resolution published in =he DAILY REPORT. said publication to me made ~wo (2) times with the first publication to be completed at least fifteen (15) days prior to the date sst for the public hearing.
