A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA,CALIFORNIA,FOR APPROVAL OF CITY
ENGINEER'S ANNUAL REPORTS FOR STREET LIGHTING
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NOS. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 AND 8. NO
INCREASE OF ASSESSMENT RATE PROPOSED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does hereby
resolve that:
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, the City
Engineer is required to make and file with the City Clerk of said City an annual report in writing
for which assessments are to be levied and collected to pay the costs of the maintenance
and/or improvement of said Street Lighting Maintenance District Nos. 1, 2, 3,4, 5, 6, 7 and 8;
and
WHEREAS,the City Engineer has made and filed with the City Clerk of said City a
report in writing as called for pursuant to said Act,which has been presented to this Council
for consideration; and
WHEREAS,said City Council has duly considered said reports and each and every
part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said report is sufficient, and that said
reports, nor any part thereof, should not be modified in any respect.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby order as follows:
1. That the Engineer's Estimate of the itemized costs and expenses of said work
and of the incidental expenses in connection therewith, contained in said
reports be hereby approved and confirmed.
2. That the diagrams showing the Assessment District referred to and described
in said report, the boundaries of the subdivisions of land within said
Assessment Districts are herebyapproved and confirmed.
3. That the proposed assessments upon the subdivisions of land in said
Assessment Districts in proportion to the estimated benefit to be received by
said subdivision, respectively, from said work and of the incidental expenses
thereof, as contained in said reports are herebyapproved and confirmed.
4. That said reports shall stand as the City Engineer's Annual Reports for the
fiscal year 2003/2004 for the subsequent proceedings.
