1. Striping and markings shall conform to Chapter 6 of the April 1987 Caltrans Traffic
Manual, the specifications and the City of Rancho Cucamonga stencil and striping
dimensions.
2. See striping and signing legend, this sheet.
3. All existing striping and pavement markings not in conformance with these plans
shall be removed by wet or vacuum sandblasting.
4. Signing shall conform to Chapter 4 of the Caltrans Traffic Manual, Caltrans Std.
Plans' S41-3, S42-15, S43-A, S44-7, A20-A, A20-B, the specifications and City of
Rancho Cucamonga Std. Plans.
5. Signs to be removed shall be delivered to the City of Rancho Cucamonga.
6. Stop sign relocation shall be by direction of the engineer.
Arrow R7. Pavement marking stencils shall match City stencils.
8. New sign posts shall Conform to Rancho Cucamonga Std. Draw%n-1 No. 402.
9. All painting shall be done with two paint applications. The second coat shall be
applied 7 days after the initial coat.
1 10. Existing raised pavement markers not conforming to this plan shall be removed and
Ex. EP. 4 •� pavement damages occuring shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the engineer.
