A RESOLUTION OF ~ CITY ~ OF ~ CITY OF RANCHO

~ TO IANDSCAPE ~ DISIRICT NO. 1 AND
STREST LI~ ~ DIStrICT NOS. 1 AND 2 FOR
q]~CT NO. 14644
WHEREAS, the City Council of t~ City of Rancho Cucamon~ has
previously formerly__ a special ma~ district ~ursuant to the terms of the
"Landscap~ and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of Califcxl~ia, said special mintenance
district known and designat~ as Landscape Ma~ District No. 1, Street
Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 ar~ Street Lighting Maintenance District
No. 2 (hereinaftmr referred to as the '9~Tte~anoe District"); and
~D~EAS, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the -landscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Ma~ntenanoe District; and
~{~AS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take proceed-
WHEREAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Maintenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
filir~ of an Engineer's '~eport."
NOW, IHf~RE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follc~s:
SqDCTION 1: q~at the above recitals are all true and correct.
Sq']CTION 2: ~at this legislative body hereby orders the annexation
of the property as ~ in Exhibit "A" and the work program areas as
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenanoe District.
S~CTION 3: ~mat all future proce~/ngs of the Maintenance District,
including the levy of all assessments, shall be applicable to the territory
PASS~D, APPRfIv~D, and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, 1992.
