A RESOI//fION OF THE CITY ODUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF RANCHO
'l'~i%~ff TO LANDSCAPE ~ DISTRICT NO. 4 AND
STREET LIGHTING MAI~FI~[~2~ DISTRICT NOS. 1 AND 4 FOR
TRACT 14407-1
WHEREAS, the City Oouncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga has
previously formed a special mintenance d/strict pursuant to the terms of the
"Tar~-~_aping and Lighting Act of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, said special maintenance
district known ~ designat~__ as Lan~ Maintenance District No. 4, Street
Lighting Maintenance District No. 1 and Street Lighting Maintenance District
No. 4 (hereinafter referred to as the '94a~ District"); and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Article 2 of Chapter 2 of the "Tandscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972" authorize the annexation of additional territory to
the Maintenance District; and
WHEREAS, at this time the City Council is desirous to take proceed-
ings to annex the property described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
incor~ted_ herein by this referenced to the Maintenance District; and
WHerEAS, all of the owners of property within the territory proposed
to be annexed to the Ma/ntenance District have filed with the City Clerk their
written consent to the proposed annexation without notioe and hearing or
filing of an Engineer's '~%s~".
NOW, ~4EREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve as follow~:
SECTION 1: That the above recitals are all true and correct.
SECTION 2: That this legislative body hereby orders the an~xation
of the property as ~ in Exhibit "A" and the work program areas as
described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto to the Maintenance District.
S~CITON 3: That all future prooeedings of the Maintenance District,
including the levy of all assessm~_rfcs, shall be applicable to the territory
