(ii) On November 15, 1991, the City of Rancho Cucamonga filed an application f~r General Plan Amendment No. 92-02, Subarea I, as described in tb~ title of this Resolution. Hereinafter in this Resolution, the subject General Plan Amendment is referred to as "the application." (iii) On F~- _hruary 26, 1992, the Planning C~m,dssion of the City of Rancho Cucamonga ~ a duly noticed public hearing on the application and following the conclusion of said public hearing, ~ Resolution NO. 92-41 reo~tat~xting to ~ City Council that the application be approved. (iv) On April 15, 1992, the City Oouncil of the City of Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing and concluded said hearing prior to the adoption of this Resolution. (v) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of the Resolution B. Resolution. NOW, THEREFORE, tb~ City Council of the City of Rancho Cu~ does hereby find, determine, and resolve as follows: 1. This Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set forth in the Recitals, Part A, of tbi~ Resolution are true and correct. 2. Based upon substantial evidence presented to thi~ Council during the above-referenced public hearing on April 15, 1992, includirg written ar~ oral staff reports, together with public testimony, this Council hereby specifically finds as follc~s: (a) ~ne application applies to 15.33 acres of land located on the northeast corner of Arrc~ Route and Archibald Avenue and is developed with an autc~x~bile servioe station, single family residenoes, a churdT, and a motor home ca~gro~]; said property is currently designated Medium Residential (a-14 dwelling units per acre); and Resolution No. 92-129 (b) The properties to the north of the subject site are designated Low Residential (2-4 d~elling units per acre) and are developed with single family residences; the properties to the south are designated Cc~nercial and Low Residential (2-4 dwelling units per acre) and are developed with a c~ercial shopp~ center, civic build/rig, and single family residences; the properties to the east are designated Medium Residential (8-14 dwelling units per acre) and are developed with a single family residence; the (c) This amendment does not conflict with the ~and Use Policies of the General Plan and will provide for develo~ within the d/strict in a (d) Ibis amendment pxumotes the goals and objectives of the (e) The properties located in Subarea I of this application are suitable for the uses permitted in the propceed land use designation and are co,pat/hie with existir~ and adjacent land use designations as evidenced by the proximity of sir~le family develo~ to the north and south of the (f) This amendment would not have significant impacts on the and findings of the ~lvirc~m~tal Assessment. 3. ~ (k~ncil hereby finds that the project has been reviewed and o0~sidered in cumplianoe with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 4. Based upon the findings and conclusions set forth in p~ragraphs 1, 2, and 3 above, this Council hereby resolves to approve General Plan Amendment 92-02, Subarea I, amending the General Plan T~d Use Map frc~ F~dium Residential (8-14 dwelling units per acre) to ~um Residential (4-8 dwelling units per acre) for 15.33 acres of land located on the noxTheast coxner of Arrc~ Route and Ard~ibald Avenue as shown in Exhibit "A." 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of tb~.~ Resolution. PASS~D, APPRDV~D, and ADOPTED this 15th day of A~ril, 1992.
