A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~ OF RANCHO
~, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTII~ THE PI~I~r.T~iINARX ~
OF ~ DEVELO~ OBJ]DCT/VES AND SRr .FL-TING
DEVELO~ BLOCK GRANT P~0GRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93
WHerEAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga is an Entitlement City under
the regulations governing the Cu~..,m'~ty Develc~ Block G~ant Program; and
WHEREAS, City staff has received proposals for projects and programs
from various organizations in the Ommmality; and
WHEREAS, City staff b~ conduct_~d_ a ncc~s assessment to detelmtine
program eligibility and r~c~s; and
WHEREAS, the City released a Preliminary Statement of C~t.t-~nity
Develc~m~_nt Objectives indicating all programs and projects submitted for
Block Grant funding in the next program year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a legally noticed public hearing
in order to give the public an opportunity to respond to staff's rec~L~nda-
tions for program funding and to put forth for Council's consideration
reo--~mendations of their own; and
WHerEAS, the City Council has heard public testimony ar~ received all
public input regarding the City's Ommmmity Devel~ Block Grant Program
for the next program year.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby resolve to take the following actions:
A. Determine that operation of the Housing Rehabilitation Program
in the flood plain is the most practical and desirable of the
alternatives and the proposed mitigation measures are
sufficient.
B. Select for preliminary funding the following projects and
programs to be fur~_ed out of the City's Cc~m~..~nity Development
Block Grant award:
