A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO

92-01, AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN MASTER PLAN OF TRAILS
(FIGURE III-7) ~ING CERFAIN TRAIL ROUTES WITHIN THE

A. Recitals.
(i) The City of Rancho Cucamonga has filed an application for
General Plan Amendment No. 92-01 as described in the title of this
Resolution. Hereinafter in this Resolution, the subject General Plan
Amendment is referred to as "the application."
(ii) On January 22, 1992, the Planning Cu~L~,~ssion of the City of
Rancho Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the application
and, following the conclusion of said public hearing, adopted Resolution No.
92-14 thereby rec~nding to this City Council that said application be
approved.
(iii) On March 18, 1992, the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga conducted a duly noticed public hearing on the application and
concluded said hearing on that date.
(iv) All legal prerequisites prior to the adoption of this
Resolution have occurred.
B. Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga does
hereby find, determine, and resolve as follows:
1. This Council hereby specifically finds that all of the facts set
forth in the Recitals, Part A, cf this Resolution are true and correct.
2. This Council hereby finds and certifies that the project has
been reviewed and considered in cul~pliance with the California Environmental
Quality Act of 1970, and further, this Council hereby issues a Negative
Declaration.
3. Based upon substantial evidence presented to this Council during
the above-referenced public hearing including written and oral staff reports,
this Council hereby finds and concludes as follows:
(a) That the subject property is suitable for the uses permitted in
the proposed district in terms of access, size, and
col~oatibility with existing land use in the surrounding area;
(b) That the proposed ~t would not have significant adverse
impacts on the environment and the surrounding properties; and

(c) That the proposed amendment is in conformance with the General
Plan.
4. The City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby approves
General Plan Amendment No. 92-01, modifying Figure III-7 as shown in the
attached Exhibits "A" and "B".
5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18th day of March, 1992.

March, 1992.
