A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT AMONG THE
CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, THE CITY OF UPLAND AND
THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO CREATING THE
CALIFORNIA HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES AGENCY
WHEREAS, the City of Rancho Cucamonga ("Rancho Cucamonga"), the City of
Upland ("Upland") and the County of San Bernardino ("County") desire to establish the
California Housing Opportunities Agency ("Agency") pursuant to the Joint Exercise of Powers
Act (Government Code Sections 6500, et seq.); and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement (in the form attached
hereto as Exhibit A) creating the California Housing Opportunities
Agency, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
to execute and attest the agreement, respectively, and to execute
such other documents as may be necessary to complete the
formation of the authority created by the agreement.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file such notice
or documents and to take such other actions as are necessary to
complete the formation of the authority created by the agreement.
