CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA DENYING ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND
GENERAL PLAN ANENEHENT NO. 86-03B, TIlE (LURI4AN COMPANY
REQUESTING AN AMENI~4ENT TO THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
R~N CHO CD CAMONCA GEN I~AL PLAN PROM MEDIUM DENSITY
RESIDENTIAL (4.14 DU/AC) TO NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL FOR
10.7 ACHES OF LAND LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST OORNER OF
HIGHLAND AVENUE AND HAVEN AVENUE - APN 102-262-28, 30, 31,
36, 37, /+0, 41, 43
~HEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly advertised public
hearing on September 24, 1986 to consider all comments on the proposed General
Plan A~endment No. 86-03B; and
WHEltEA~, the City Council held a duly advertised public hearing at
consider all comments on the proposed General Plan Amendment No. 86-03B;
SECTION I: The R~ncho Cucamonga City Council c~nnot make the
folloeing findings:
A. The Amendment does not conflict with the Land Use
Policies of the General Plan.
B. The Amenchnent promotes goals of the Land Use Element.
C. The Amenchnent would not be materially injurious or
detrimental to the adjacent properties.
NO~, THEREFORE, BE IT RES(I, VED, that the Rancho Cucamonga City
Council hereby denies General Plan Amendment No. 86-03B.
