A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFOIt~IA, TO AWARD AND OTHERWISE EXECUTE A
PEOFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH G.P.S. CONSULTING
CIVIL ENGINEERS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ENGINEERING PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES FOR THE I~[A~/~AGE AREA VII
STOitM DEALN FOR A FEE OF $55,310,00 TO BE PAID FROM SYSTEMS
DEV~LOPMEMT FEES AND TO ESTABLISH A IOZ PEOJECT CONTINGENCY
FUND IN ADDITION THERETO
WHI~EAS, the City Council of the City of Rancho Cucamonga desires to
hsve prepared Engineering Plans, Specifications and Estimates for the
construction of the Master Plan Stot~ Drain se~in~ ~aiaage ~ea VII in Rancho
Cucamonga, aa area bounded by Foothill ~ul~ard at the north, 8th S~reet at
the south, ~chibald Avenue ~o the west and Turner Avenue to the east; and
WHeEl, G.P.S. ~nsultin8 Civil Es&insets, by su~itting a proposal
letter in response to a request for proposals fr~ the City, has su~itted
~idence of q~lification and is willis8 to perfo~ such semites for a fee.
N~, ~EFORE, BE IT E~S~VED by the City ~cil oi the City of
~ncho Cucamonsa to accept, award and othe~ise execute a Professional Semites
Asre~ent with G.P.S. ~nsulting Civil Engineers for the Preparation of
Ensineerin& Plans, Specifications and Estimates for the ~ainage ~ea VII S~om
~ain for a fee of $55,320,00 to be paid fr~ Syst~s ~elo~ent Fees with a
reimburs~ent to foll~ fr~ the Red, slowest ~ency.
IN ADDITION, BB IT RES~VED by the City ~cil of the City of ~ncho
Cucamonga to establish a contingency [und of 10~ of the amo~t of said
agre~ent or $5,532.00 to be used in the ~ent of extra work or chanse order,
to be a~iniatered by staff.
