A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO
CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DENYING ETIWANDA SPECIFIC PLAN
AMENDMENT NO. 86-01 FOR 9.4 ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF BASE LINE AND ETIWANDA
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of March, 1986, an application was filed and
accepted on the above-described project; and
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of May, 1986, the Planning Commission held a
duly authorized public hearing pursuant to Section 65854 of the California
Government Code;
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a duly advertised public hearing to
consider all comments on the proposed Etiwanda Specific Plan Amendment 86-01.
SECTION 1: The Rancho Cucamonga City Council cannot make the
following findings:
1. That the subject property is suitable for the uses
permitted in the proposed district in terms of access,
size, and compatibility with existing land use in the
surrounding area; and
2. The proposed district change would not have
significant impact on the environment nor the
surrounding properties; and
3. That the proposed district change is in conformance
with the General Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That pursuant to Section 65850 to 65855 of the
California Government Code, that the City Council of
the City of Rancho Cucamonga hereby denies on the
Etiwanda Specific Plan Amendment No, 86-01 on the 5th
day of August, 1987.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1987.
