A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA,
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-411
WHEREAS, on November 7, 1990, the City Council approved Resolution No, 90-411
establishing a Policy requiring the preparation of an operational cost analysis prior to the approval
of any new Public Facility; and
WHEREAS, the operational analysis should identify associated budgetary implications
while at the same time contain an examination of ways to minimize costs of operations and
maintenance, without losing sight or achieving the original goals of the public facility to be built;
and
WHEREAS,this approach would help insure the most cost-effective public facilities policy;
and
WHEREAS, the current Capital Improvement Program (CIP) provides an accurate
accounting of each City project including location, estimated construction timeframe, project
description, graphic representation, justification, funding sources, five-year cost estimates, and
impact on operations; and
WHEREAS, the intent and goals of the Policy established through Resolution No. 90-411
are now being met and exceeded by the CIP.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Rancho
Cucamonga, California does hereby resolve on this 2211 day of June 2023, as follows:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 90-411 is hereby rescinded.
