HomeMy WebLinkAbout2023-115 - Resolution RESOLUTION NO. 2023-115 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CALIFORNIA, DEDICATING FOR PUBLIC USE THAT PORTION OF CHELSEA WAY FROM HAVEN IAVENUE TO APPROXIMATELY 445 FEET WESTERLY IN THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA AS A PUBLIC STREET THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RANCHO CUCAMONGA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Findings. The City Council finds, determines and declares that: A. The City acquired in fee the property located at the northwest corner of Haven Avenue and Civic Center Drive and described in the Quitclaim Deed to the City of Rancho Cucamonga recorded on October 24, 2018 as Document No. 2018-0389123 in the Office of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County(Assessor Parcel No.'s 0208-331-40 and 0208-331- 47). B. The City now desires to dedicate for public use, namely public street, public utilities, drainage and related purposes, that certain portion of Chelsea Way from Haven Avenue to approximately 445 feet westerly described more particularly below. Section 2. Dedication of Portions of Chelsea Way for Public Street Purposes. The City Council hereby dedicates for public use, namely for public street, public utility, drainage and related purposes, that strip of land 52.00 feet in width from Haven Avenue to approximately 445 'feet westerly described as that certain street dedication described and depicted more particularly on EXHIBIT"A" and shown on EXHIBIT "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. Said public street is to be named Chelsea Way. Section 3. Recording of Resolution.. The City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution and its EXHIBIT "A" and EXHIBIT "B" to be recorded in the Official Records of the County of San Bernardino. Section 4.
